At Cox-Colvin, we recognize that safety is foremost in the minds of our clients. We understand that safety is critical to our clients' reputations and profits, and that scrimping on safety is false economy. Cox-Colvin's commitment to safety is reflected in our Exposure Modifier of 0.06 to 0.24 from 2005 to 2010. In addition, Cox-Colvin has had zero OSHA 300 Log reportable injuries in the eight years we've been issuing reports.

Every Cox-Colvin field employee has received the following training:

  • 40-hour Hazardous Waste Operation (HAZWOPER) safety training;
  • 8-hour HZAWOPER annual updates;
  • 10-hour OSHA Construction training; and
  • Site-specific training, as needed.

Additional safety training received by various Cox-Colvin employees includes:

  • USEPA 40-hour Radiation Safety at Superfund Site;
  • 16-hour Confined Space Entry Training; and
  • Mine Safety Health Administration (MSHA) New Miner Training.
