Remedy implementation typically involves remedial design and construction, operation and maintenance, and remedy completion. Cox-Colvin & Associates is well versed in each of these steps and has implemented numerous environmental cleanup remedies in a variety of media and contaminant types. Our experience includes both well tested technologies such as environmental excavation, capping, and vapor extraction as well as in-situ technologies such as chemical oxidation and biostimulation/bioaugmentation.
Evaluation of the performance of a chosen environmental remedy is necessary to measure progress toward remedial goals and ensure that remedial objectives are achieved. Although a critical component to most remedial alternatives, performance monitoring to evaluate how the remedy is working or when complete is often considered as an afterthought by many remedial design contractors. Cox-Colvin & Associates closely monitors the effectiveness of every remedy we implement to determine whether the remedy is producing the desired results.
